bag hunt

i'm officially on a bag hunt.

i'm looking for a bag (cheap one of cos) with a clasp lock/kisslock.. u know those purses lock, but a big one for the bag opening. i saw people carrying on the trains and i want one!!

have u ever felt like you have many thoughts and things that you wanna express but you cant say it out loud truthfully for many reasons? it's like that everywhere isn't it?

work, friends, family, relatives, even on the public transport.

like i want to shout at the auntie sitting beside me on the train to stop moving and using her elbow to tickle my waist,
like i want to tell my relative to stop bugging me for what i'm not interested in,
like i want to tell my neighbour to stop smoking or he'll die sooner than his plants,
like i want to tell off the bird at work to stop pecking at everyone,
like i want to tell those narcissistic & egoistic people to be less inflated,
like i want to tell the irritating cab driver to stop talking and talking,
like i want to tell the snobbish reporter to eat his own shit,
like i want to tell the woman carrying LV mini lin speedy that she's making the bag look bad,
like i want to tell the sonic boy to stop eavesdropping on us,
like i want to tell people to stop having their weddings on weekdays,
like i want to tell the printer to stop calling us 8 times a day. each.
like i want to tell the guy who is sitting in front of me in the cinema to stop combing his hair up high and blocking my view,
like i want to tell the government that we hate the foreign workers that are killing and degrading our country.

like i have many other things which i cannot even list in my blog cos i can't say them!!

yoohoo! updates about my long weekend! *warning: pictures galore!*

went to miramar hotel's ikoi on friday for lunch. sort of our post-valentine's celebration and my treat with my bonus. :) it was quite good! the best was the salmon sashimi.. succulent, thick and very very fresh.. one of the best i've had since a long time.

they served us a complimentary paper steamboat

and as we were finishing the steamboat, mr porky found a teeny weeny little small ant inside. so we asked the waitress to take it away and she came back with this.....................!

apparently, this unagi is not in the buffet menu so it's a special item. it's the best best unagi i've ever eaten! i had nothing but praises for this while eating it. thank goodness for the ant! haha...

halfway while eating... we saw the chef leaving his counter and was amazed. he came out through this little hole that i'm pointing at. poor man, his back must be aching from bending in and out every single day!

no lunch outing is complete without our favourite ACT CUTE TIME :P

^^see the watch i was wearing? it's a very sweet Baby-G watch that Mr Porky got as my Valentine's pressie. :)

after lunch, we went to catch the show "Jumper" by Hayden Christensen. it's a good show, but not good enough if you know what i mean :)


After the show, Mr Porky started his long long inner struggle of whether he wants to get the Wii or PS3. So he did what I'd always do.... ask friends and family for votes.. haha.. he had such a difficult time deciding, we even came up with an excel sheet stating the pros & cons of both machines. in the end, we decided to go to Qisahn's shop and got the...................

we're pretty sure he didn't make the wrong decision cos it's ultra fun!! we spent the rest of sat and sun playing mario galaxy, wii sport's bowling, tennis, golf and boxing.

and my arms are aching baaadly now. i'm so gonna have arm muscles like madonna soon!

excited to watch the amazing race asia's finale tonight as well. i guess the singapore team will win! cos ah... they have been showing advertisements of 3 teams for sony handycam (sponsor). one ad features one of the guys from the phillippines team & one girl from the msia team. another ad features both the guys of the sg team... "coincidentally", these 3 teams featured on the ad are the final 3 teams vying for the $.

so ya, sherlock chee holmes thinks we'll win!!

the thing about public holidays is, they are gone faster than i can finish a tin of pineapple tarts.

its monday and i'm in black from top to toe. i'm mourning for my lost holidays. a lot of my poultry zoo comrades are on leave (#$%^@#$%^#$%%^&*), making my monday even more delightful. =/

the best thing about this CNY was that i had a great great time with my niece and nephews. for the first time ever, baby roy came to me and called me "AH YI YO" out of his own will (simply because he wanted to ask me if he was going in the right direction for Mario Kart, but it made my day anyway)

watched CJ7 last week.. i thought it was beneath stephen chow's ability as i really liked his last Kung Fu movie. nevertheless, the little girl was really good and alien was darn cute. clever marketers should come out with the alien merchandise to cash in on its cuteness already

oh ya, i managed to master using fake eye lash within my first try. i am so naturally talented, can't help beaming at myself. haha :P

For the first time in Tissue Lady's life, i decided to put an ad on this blog, just so I can generate a teeny weeny bit of side income while doing practically nothing.

So i signed up myself on Nuffnang and after 1 week, i got my first ad.. excited by how much i can earn, i got hardworking and began to start doing "PR & Marketing" for my blog. PR & Marketing as in signing up on bloglog, posting my blogs on Nuffnang's innit thingy, visiting people's blog etc.

So much work.

As my Nike Woman ad ran last week, I was damn excited to see how much i got in the end. My traffic is quite low, so i'm under "Band 1" in Nuffnang terms. From the ad last week, I've garnered a whopping S$1.68. let's say i have at least 10 ads per year. i'll need 3 years from now before i can finally cash out the $50. (their minimum cash-out amount is $50)

woooots! i'm rich. =_=|||

bye nuffnang, i'm removing you. i know i shouldn't expect too much but well.. i've decided to stop wasting my time and go back to be the "housewife-blog".. not the kind to step out into the vast worldwide web and earn money for a living. anyways, i think i'll still be visiting some blogs which i think are interesting to read

RIP Mr Rat

I just witnessed a fatal accident on Shenton Way while waiting for Mr Porky to fetch me :(

The traffic was heavy and I heard a loud and long horn. It caught my attention and I saw a car driving super slowly, blocking the bus behind. I'm not sure if the horn was from the slow car or the bus behind the car, but anyway... i saw a rat trying to run across the road and the car was driving slowly because the driver didn't want to run over the rat.

The rat finally ran passed that car but on the next lane, a cab (ignorant of what is happening), ran over the rat.

I witnessed the rat, half dead, making its final bit of struggle and eventually giving up.

It's 80% "Oh-noooooooo" & 20% "yikes!"

I'm disturbed. Can't get the image out of my head. Probably gonna have a nightmare.
