went to miramar hotel's ikoi on friday for lunch. sort of our post-valentine's celebration and my treat with my bonus. :) it was quite good! the best was the salmon sashimi.. succulent, thick and very very fresh.. one of the best i've had since a long time.
they served us a complimentary paper steamboat
and as we were finishing the steamboat, mr porky found a teeny weeny little small ant inside. so we asked the waitress to take it away and she came back with this.....................!
apparently, this unagi is not in the buffet menu so it's a special item. it's the best best unagi i've ever eaten! i had nothing but praises for this while eating it. thank goodness for the ant! haha...halfway while eating... we saw the chef leaving his counter and was amazed. he came out through this little hole that i'm pointing at. poor man, his back must be aching from bending in and out every single day!
no lunch outing is complete without our favourite ACT CUTE TIME :P
^^see the watch i was wearing? it's a very sweet Baby-G watch that Mr Porky got as my Valentine's pressie. :)after lunch, we went to catch the show "Jumper" by Hayden Christensen. it's a good show, but not good enough if you know what i mean :)
After the show, Mr Porky started his long long inner struggle of whether he wants to get the Wii or PS3. So he did what I'd always do.... ask friends and family for votes.. haha.. he had such a difficult time deciding, we even came up with an excel sheet stating the pros & cons of both machines. in the end, we decided to go to Qisahn's shop and got the...................

we're pretty sure he didn't make the wrong decision cos it's ultra fun!! we spent the rest of sat and sun playing mario galaxy, wii sport's bowling, tennis, golf and boxing.
and my arms are aching baaadly now. i'm so gonna have arm muscles like madonna soon!
